After stretching the truth on a deal with a spiritual guru, literary agent Jack McCall finds a Bodhi tree on his property. Its appearance holds a valuable lesson on the consequences of every word we speak.

Review:
 This wasn't one of Eddie Murphy's typical comedies, but don't get me wrong it was entertaining for the full hour and a half. Jack (Eddie Murphy) plays a bad game of charades throughout the movie, losing his job and wife in the process. He let's his book agent job get in the way of his family, making him just like his father who left him and his mother when he was a baby. Come to find out the tree is really symbolism of his father, once he finds room in his heart to forgive his father, the tree will stop dying hence letting Jack live longer. You're probably thinking, ah this is very typical for Hollywood, definitely not worthy of a true theatrical release. Bottom line, it's worth a cheap rent or a very cheap buy but not a full purchase.
